Dacia Universal Art Project in Germany

The Dacia Universal Art Project opened in Germany today!  Check out THIS VIDEO to see images of some of the paintings included in the show as well as an interview (in German) about the exhibition! I wish I could understand what they are saying.  I almost think I heard them say my name but I could be wrong. I'm excited that my painting ended up in the video thumbnail though (it's the one in the center, of the person falling in water and is entitled "The Descent."

Canada Summer Games Mural Unveiling

Here is an invitation to the official unveiling of the mural I participated in painting for the National Mural Mosaic project for the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec.  If you're in the area I hope you can attend and take lots of photos!  I can't wait to see the final assembled mural!

Portraits of Bluesfest

I will have a painting included in the fifth annual "Portraits of Bluesfest" auction which will take place in Ottawa on August 29th.  I was one of 18 artists invited to participate and I am honoured to be in the company of some of the National Capital's most respected artists for this fundraiser.  Below is an image of my painting.  Portraits of Bluesfest was founded and is curated by Peter Simpson, the Ottawa Citizen’s arts editor at large (ottawacitizen.com/bigbeat). Co-organizer is Patrick Gordon. Sponsors include The Ottawa Citizen, RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest and Patrick Gordon Framing Studio. Check out THE ARTICLE in the Ottawa Citizen that features my painting and covers the event!
